Vultures & Fireflies
At the end of November, Alejandro Galván will begin painting a chronicle of Mexico at Marres, viewed from the perspective of the working-class neighborhood Neza in the State of Mexico. The work, titled Vultures & Fireflies, will fill the entire house and will have its festive opening on March 15, 2025. In the months leading up to the opening, a series of sneak previews and events will take place around the artwork.
Friday Night Opening
Bring your loved one for an original Valentine’s Day date. This is one of the special previews organized by Marres ahead of the March 15 opening, offering a unique glimpse into the artist’s work-in-progress.
