This publication, compiled by Gladys Zeevaarders, features a variety of assignments inspired by the garden of Marres.

The public city garden of Marres has a rich history and offers space for large fig trees, flowering shrubs like hawthorn, winter jasmine, and red-leaved elder, ferns, and flowers such as tulips and dahlias, as well as apple trees and a monumental icehouse. The garden is home to a wide range of birds, insects, butterflies, toads, and frogs. Participating artists Anne Büscher, Anne Geene, Axel De Marteau, Elisa Verkoelen, Floor Martens, Imke van Boekhold, Marjet Zwaans, Merel Van de Casteele, Sanne Vaassen, and Sonja Tara were invited to connect their own practice with the walled garden.

De Ommuurde Tuin is written in Dutch.

De Ommuurde Tuin is available for purchase at the Marres reception and online shop for 14.95.
