On August 20 and 21, the training days for the participating artists of Currents 11: The Turn of Many Suns took place at both Jester in Genk and Marres.
Currents is a recurring group exhibition that brings together the work of recently graduated artists, curated by a team of emerging curators. The exhibition is part of a broader development program for the participants, focusing on training, networking, and professional growth.
The artists received training from theater producer and head lecturer at the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts Woody Laurens, and writer and curator (including for Currents 8) Helena Julian.
