Marres education organises familyworkshops in the exhibition Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity. Due to the overwhelming interest we provide extra workshops in June.
Ferran Adrià, the famous chef of elBulli, always had a pencil and a sketchbook at the ready during the 20-plus years in which he worked with his team on his innovative, investigatory cuisine. He didn’t write his recipes down, he drew them first. ‘Drawing is the basis of my creative process,’ Adrià has said. ‘I use these drawings to help me visualise what the final result will look like; often, drawing helps trigger a work in progress.

The familyworkshop The Family Meal gives you a unique inside in the kitchen of the Spanish chef of elBulli, which used to be the best restaurant in the world. Learn to look at ingredients by tasting, smelling and feeling them. Find out how new tastes are made and become a masterchef in your own kitchen!

Wednesday: 15 and 22 June
