Guest curator Agata Jaworska and her team consisting of Ina Hollmann, Eva Jäger and Guillemette Legrand have visited the art academies in the Southern Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in recent months. They looked at the work of recently graduated artists and made a selection.

This winter Marres presents the third edition of the annual exhibition Marres Currents. Marres invites young curators to select recently graduated artists from art academies in the south of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to create an exhibition. In this way Marres acts as a platform for starting artists and curators. The exhibition opens on 17 December in Maastricht. Part of this exhibition will travel to Amsterdam and will be on display in the Brakke Grond from 20 February 2016.
